Twice the Newspapers: News That is Fresh as a Daisy Coming to Gazette.
Spring is starting to show up, and to celebrate, the Great Falls Gazette will begin printing the weekday edition on Monday, May 6th. By reducing the time between papers, we can have much more relevant stories, easier access to events, and more in-depth coverage that we could not do before.
Following the start of our home delivery service, the Gazette is moving closer to being the classic newspaper Great Falls has been begging to have again. The Gazette is a great deal at only $8.00 monthly for in-county subscribers and generous discounts for longer-term subscriptions. For folks who prefer only to receive one copy per week, both editions will also be available on their own!
The new ‘Weekday’ edition, which will be available on newsstands and for home delivery on Mondays, will feature city and county event calendars, feature stories on local businesses and organizations, the new ‘Views of the Past’ column, and, of course, all the latest happenings from around town. The Friday edition will focus more on weekend events, entertainment, and sports. Both papers will have news, puzzles, obituaries, and feature stories. All neighborhood papers (The Augusta Breeze, Vaughn Weekly Reporter, and Great Falls Gazette Lights) will continue to be made available with a publication date of Friday.
For people who wish to change their subscription to include both issues, we can update your subscription so that you get the second edition without payment and move the end date, OR we can charge a prorated fee to cover the new copies of the paper. For people who wish to change from the Weekend edition to the Weekday edition, we can make that change with no charges or change in duration.
