Great Falls Fire Rescue is on the Scene

Working structure fire at 6th and 33rd Ave NE. Residents have evacuated. Please avoid the area while crews are on scene.

Update:

May 7, 2024 at 6:56AM, Great Falls Fire Rescue’s D Platoon responded to a working structure fire at 628 33rd Ave NE.

A second alarm was issued, along with mutual aid requests for MTANG and Malmstrom Fire to backfill Station 3 and Station 4. Northwestern Energy and Energy West were also sending technicians to the location.

The homeowners were able to safely evacuate. The fire caused significant damage resulting
in the home being uninhabitable.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
